Restore previous maps on nlwiki
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

In the past months somewhere, the maps (seen when clicked on "Kaart" in the right top corner) on the Dutch Wikipedia have been changed somehow without community consensus. Previously the maps of OpenStreetMap were used, now some other map are used as default. These new maps are of inferior/less quality and were not the choice of the Dutch Wikipedia community.

It is fine people have multiple options for the maps, but the default map need to be restored to the higher quality one. This map is now an option as "OSM.org", and need to be the default option.

(Example of where you can see the map: right top corner on for example Schellingwouderbrug.)

(Removing Maps (Kartographer) as it does not use <mapframe> or <maplink>.)

The "Kaart" link in the right top corner is provided by a local gadget called "Implementatie van OpenStreetMap (via Wikimedia Labs) binnen een wikipagina". It loads stuff from https://tools.wmflabs.org/wiwosm/osm-on-ol/

CC'ing @Kolossos and @simon04 as per "Maintainers" info for Wiwosm on https://tools.wmflabs.org/admin/tools , maybe they know a bit more here (or where exactly in the software stack the default layer is defined).

This map is now an option as "OSM.org"

It took me a while to find out that clicking a small "+" on the right allows "OSM.org" as a "Base Layer". Clear steps to reproduce are welcome when reporting issues.
