Description

Hello. I am hosting an edit-a-thon at the Texas A&M Univ-Corpus Christi library. I request to lift the limit on new users on our IP address.

The event time frame is October 11, 2018; 12pm to 4pm UTC/GMT -5:00 hours (Central Daylight Time)

The IPs to allow are forthcoming. I have a request in with local IT to get this information. I will update this ticket as soon as I know the IP addresses.

The expected number of people to attend the event is 40

The list of wikis to allow account creation on is: Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons.

Yes. Thank you. I did mean English Wikipedia.

My IT liaison gave me this IP range: 64.71.80.* - 64.71.95.*

He says : .There isn’t just one IP address for the entire library, it’s a range for the entire campus. The campus network assigns a dynamically generated IP address to any computer that traverses the internet. These addresses are internal (aka private) they are then translated to an external IP range.

I suppose by your notation that ip ranges are /24, will do a change by following this.
