Description

6.0.2 (1493)

Steps:

  1. On iPhone SE on iOS 12
  2. Go to an article and scroll down

Expected:
Normal viewing

Actual:
A horizontal line appears towards the end of the article. It appears to be scroll indicator similar to what appears when holding the device in landscape and scrolling.

Notes - Also reported in OTRS by users. So far I have been unable to reproduce it on any other device/OS combo

So far not able to repro either - will try a bit more...

Moved to blocked given I haven't been able to repro so far...

@ABorbaWMF Testing on iPhone SE with iOS 12 and Wikipedia app 6.1.0 (1506). As shown in the attachments below this is fixed on the English articles but still can use further testing in other languages as I was able to reproduce it there.

Looks like it is still occurring on some non-english articles. Moving back for now.

The screenshots of non-english articles aren't this issue - the sideways scroll bar is in the right place. Moving to PM signoff

Yeah, seems to be a separate issue, initial issue is resolved.
