I would like to change the full name associated with my wikimedia gerrit account. On the contact settings page, I cannot edit the value in the "Full Name" field. In addition, when I attempted to change my account's full name by through the command line, I received the message "fatal: realm does not allow editing name". I would like to make this change because the full name associated with my account is no longer correct.

You have to edit your name through wikitech, then in gerrit you click reload next to full name.

The reload full name could be added to PolyGerrit, but other then that the OLD UI (GWTUI) has been removed upstream.

Any idea how one does that? Iirc the full name being used in Gerrit is the Wikitech login account. So one would need to rename its wikitech account.

@hashar im not sure now. I've just looked on https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences but cannot find a edit button.

Not resolved. There's no edit button, neither on Wikitech nor on Gerrit ui. Attempting to change it from Terminal says
fatal: realm does not allow editing name
That's how I found this task. It should really be allowed in one way or another
