The fix for T196117: [Regression pre-wmf.7] Drop down for template search results appears to go over the dialog when the template description is too long and not wrapping tries to force the width of the drop down to be the same as the input field, but (probably due to the border) fails to do so, the drop down is 1px or 2px too small: While the outer margins align properly on the left, on the right the outer of the drop down aligns to the inner of the input:
