Presumably this is because all the URL "parameters" are actually in the fragment, as in this URL just sent to the analytics mailing list: https://stats.wikimedia.org/v2/#/it.wikipedia.org/contributing/top-editors/normal%7Ctable%7C1-Month%7C%7Etotal

It ought to be possible to provide URLs which are more compatible.
