The Loops extension from @Danwe is currently unmaintained. I have worked a little with the code and think I'll be able to improve it and maintain it in the future.

I have worked with other simple parser extensions in the past and am the current maintainer of MediaWiki-extensions-Variables. Furthermore, I recently contributed some code to extension registration, which can come in handy as well.
