@SchrgCat @Tsevener any updates on this task? It seems to not be relevant anymore. I've tested like this iPhone X real device, iOS 13.3.1:

  • in the feed tab 3D-touch on an article
  • peek the article and swipe up to see available actions
  • select save action
  • the reading list hint is shown
  • select list
  • check the reading lists tab - the article is there

Long-press seems to not be available on iPhone X, only 3D-touch

@yzelenska - I am able to long press the "Save for later" button - a reading list screen will pop up. Once choosing a reading list we expect the "Article added to [list name]" banner to show up at the bottom of the explore feed screen, similar to what you see from the article screen after saving to a particular reading list (attached). I am testing on an iPhone X, iOS 13.3.1. My Wikipedia app version is 6.5.1. Hope this helps!

@Tsevener: A good first task should be well-described with pointers to help a completely new contributor. Given the task description (no links to a codebase, no hints how to fix this) I am removing the good first task tag. Please feel free to add details what exactly has to happen where and how for a completely new contributor, and then add back the good first task project tag. Thanks a lot in advance.
