Yes, we use NFS for two purposes:
- As destination for hourly backups of service state (INI configuration, SQLite database files). We only keep a few days at most.
- As push-n-pull intermediary to periodically transfer one of our internal databases from a bot server to a web server, where a read-only JSON API allows it to be queried by gadgets and user scripts.
