Description

Using the "classic" - or whatever it is called - editor, the edit buttons are not displayed. Happens in german wiktionary since halloween 2018.

No, this happens because of T30856: Remove classic edit toolbar from core.

So that means it's intentional, hmmm.... In that case, I think that should answer @Formatierer question?

So its easy to fix. Just move the classic edit toolbar back to core again.

@Formatierer, look at T30856: Remove classic edit toolbar from core, as already mentioned by @MGChecker, I think the removal is intentional so you may want to have a look at the task in order to see why? Maybe poke there too?

I think this task should be declined or merged as duplicate, so we don't split this discussion into two places.
