I think they probably want to match the standard set by other OS lists. Looking at others, something like oversight-ko-wp@lists.wikimedia.org or similar I'd guess.

@revi - is this for oversighters to discuss things, or for requests for oversight themselves?

• I'm fine with the standard naming scheme.
• Requests are handled thru OTRS, this is discussion-only.
