When adapting links, add an option to use the actual article title instead of the machine translation
Closed, DuplicatePublic

When Content Translation adapts links, it uses Wikidata to identify the link target, but for the displayed text it uses the machine translation.

Sometimes it is correct, but sometimes the machine translation is wrong and it would be better to use the actual article title.

There is no way to predict what is better, so there should be an option that the translation can select, something like this: "Use machine translation for link text" / "Use target article text for adapted links".

This is similar to T106428, but for languages that do have machine translation support.
