The English Wikipedia Madiation Committee is closed and marked as historical, and it's mailing list is to be closed. Apparently nobody really knows how to do that, so asking for help here. I suppose it would work to just unsubscribe everyone currently on it?

[You should probably include the name of the mailing list in the task title]

@Beeblebrox: Which exact list on https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo is this about?

my apologies for not including the name, which as it turns out was not easy to find, but it's this one

I will disable the list and remove the admins so it is not physically deleted, but no more emails can be sent, plus also the owners do not get contacted by spam requests or othewise.

Disabling is done

All messages moderated by default
Removed all administrators
Set admin password to a random string

I see no reason to remove it completely, even if the archives are not public, so I consider this resolved now.
