Testing AbuseFilter on StructuredDiscussions edits is not possible
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

It is not possible to use two testing functions on edits on Flow - examine and test. Posting etc. are not visible on changes list.

Tried to manually change ID in URL to hit example edit https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:AbuseFilter/examine/3829920 but Exception shows.

These "filters" should match most of flow edits:

action == "reply"
action == "edit-header"

It probably has more impact on filters for Flow but do not broke them at all - they still catches Flow's edits but I think something may be not working too.

Releated thread: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Uozn0sm26q3jb8o6 - i think restoring test functionality would help problem mentioned there or maybe even find bug releated to this issue.

There isn't any other internal problem, aside from Flow edits not being testable, AFAIK. The capability to test flow edit was never added to AbuseFilter, and the other task has a stub patch, for which I asked for some help some time ago. The only thing worth investigating is the exception shown (although I believe it's not a great deal).
