[Regression wmf.4] Old content shows up for a brief second after opening VE for an article

Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open VE for any page
  2. Edit the page and save your edit
  3. Reopen VE for that page

Observe that for a split second the previous content shows up and then it changes backs to the recent content

I believe this was caused by the same problem as T209542. I noticed this behavior when debugging that issue and described it:

That task is fixed, and so I believe this should be fixed too. Can you confirm?
