Currently the behavior seems to be that emails with notifications on talkpage messages are sent out on a daily basis. However, this kind of notification is moot if the user has already flagged the notification as 'seen' in the MediaWiki environment.

Expected behavior would be that either the email is sent immediately (and not with some hours delay) or that it checks whether the flag on MediaWiki is set to 'seen'.
