Grafana 5 changed its URL scheme to include a unique ID for every dashboard, which makes their URLs stable across renames. For now, it will redirect old URLs to new ones, but this will probably change in a future release.

Regarding the puppet repo there are a lot of links related to the dashboards linked in Icinga checks. It would be nice if as part of the refactor we could simplify it without the need to repeating the whole URL all the time ;)
