I've heard of two recent bugs that could have been found on the Beta Cluster except that the Beta Cluster didn't match production in some critical detail. Updates such as copying over the current version of enwiki's common.js file seem to happen on a purely ad hoc schedule; the last round was done by @TheDJ months ago, and the time before that was probably a year or more ago. Could we please have an orderly and reliable process for syncing en.wikipedia.beta with en.wikipedia?
