Abusefilter (at nlwiki) cannot recognise "global renamer"
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

At nlwiki the abuse filter https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Filter/37 is meant to give a warning when moving of user: and user talk: pages because of possible vandalism. However the filter hits global renaming by global renamers as well. For instance https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Filterlogboek/1426739 and https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speciaal:Filterlogboek/1421752. It would be helpful if abuse filters could recognise that the group of global renamers.

The "global-renamer" group is a local group in metawiki, and thus it's not listed in global_user_groups. However, global renames should not trigger any filter at all, thus making this request useless. Closing as duplicate in a moment.
