Kiwix-js extension is an offline wikipedia reader extension available across all major browsers. It's a great wikipedia extension and I see great potential in it. I want to hence propose this project for GSOC 2019 and become a long term contributor in it to make wikipedia super usefull at all times.

Suggestions are welcomed from everyone.
It would be awesome to hear from @srishakatux about the status of it being acceptable or not.

Tasks to be done:

• Port current Js/Jquery/html syntax to Jquey. This alone would solve tons of issues regarding porting to vanilla JS and issues with JS overall.
• Improving Documentation. Generating well formed documentation would be must. I propose something like JSDocs.
• Adding 90%+ test coverage
