Bugs
- There is a language fallback chain (hardcoded for the time being) to use for fallback titles, descriptions, new article links and article language menu (found in rest.js)
- In Wikibase the language fallback chain is stored (and edited) in https://wikidocumentaries.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguageFallbackChain
Article
- Wikipedia-based links break with some type of titles. Redirects are suspected not to work. One is Tulva_(lehti)?language=fi, another is wikipedia/fi/Harald%20Oxe?language=fi.
- Some Wikidata IDs dont' work. Must be investigated if redirects are causing this as well.
- New Wikipedia article link may point to an already existing article, or use a bad or nonexistent title.
Header
- The header title shows no fallback title.
- The header description could work the same way as the title
- The header image is somehow dependent on the Wikipedia article: There are found images, but none of them is selected as main image.
- Fallback option for missing image required.
Wikidata section
- Commons links in the Wikidata section point to Wikidocumentaries and produce no result --> should be external
- There are links to property items in the Wikidata results. They do not produce a page in Wikidocumentaries, maybe they should be directed to Wikidata.
- New window links should be removed from items that show Wikidocumentaries pages. These are those that previously pointed to external pages: links in english and wikidata items. Also their link style should be normal.
- Wikidata redirects don't get redirected data
- Authority ids can get the URL body from the related properties
Map
- Map nearby places display first available label although English is available. They should fall back to the fallback chain (which does not exist yet).
- Map nearby places links have wrong link structure. They prepend the wikipedia part in front of the QID part.
- Map nearby places are probably from Wikipedia rather than Wikidata.
- Map main pin does not display a fallback title, it is empty.
Images
- Images search breaks for at least Finna if the topic title is missing. The same images are returned to all topics.
