Probably not for this quarter, good to keep in mind as we talk about standardizing graphs in presentations. Also planned: training for group on visualization/data presentation to non-tech audiences

We will also need to consider our tooling

@MNovotny_WMF had suggested design may be able to help us work through viz standards (note that we haven't prioritized this work yet)

We will be hiring a specialist in data visualization to take on some of these goals

Design is working on this (T280847: [EPIC] Define and add data visualisation guidelines and a set of library components to Codex) and Global Data & Insights has a fellow working on an R package to standardize charts made with ggplot2: https://github.com/test237-prog/wiki/tree/main/ggwiki

Kieran (in Design) has met with our team and GD&I to review the draft of guidelines and get feedback.

Hua (our Data Visualization Specialist) has been creating visualizations that apply best practices & Wikimedia brand guidelines: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/board/4320/?filter=n59K33u.2a3I. She will meet with Kieran to align on those.
