wikipedia iOS & Android apps have incomplete view/navigation of tables
Closed, DuplicatePublic

Description

Wikipedia' tables are not shown completely in the iOS/Android apps. After expanding, I can scroll to the right but not down (within the table box/frame that expands and hides).

Maybe content specific.
Try example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_index#Table_of_values

There doesn't seem to be any way to zoom or change to a fullscreen view of the table. Usability doesn't meet expectations. I can change the app font size to the smallest to view more cells but some tables are still too big.

The current workaround is to open the page using a browser (mobile or desktop).

I'm sorry if I have taged or assigned this task to the wrong groups (#newtothis, #justauser), I'm just trying to give feedback.

This seems to be rooted in the content service and/or parsoid, since the issue can also be seen in the mobile-html endpoint:

Template:HeatTable has a fixed height attribute of 200px. I think this is what causes this issue. Not sure why this only affects when collapse table is turned on, though.
