Templates are defined independently on each wiki. This fragmentation creates many challenges for a tool like Content Translation to reliably transfer the data in the templates across languages (recreating equivalent templates, finding potentially equivalent parameters). In the current context, it is not viable to make further community-specific adjustments to this process. this usecase seems more appropriate for a post-processing bot, but we are open to explore in the future when template support improves.
