On iPad, in landscape orientation, click the edit button. Position the cursor in the paragraph to be edited. As soon as you begin to type, the section being edited scrolls out of view (under the iPad keyboard).

If you scroll the section so it's visible again, it will scroll out of view again as soon as you begin typing.
