When we go to some wiki's, the search button in Translation tool doens't respond on Chrome for android.
It works on English Wikipedia, but not on Hindi Wikipedia (and few other Indic wiki I tried, could be issue on other wikis I think).
Here's a screen recording where I am first trying it on hiwiki (where it doesn't respond) on a Chrome based browser (tried also on main chrome app) and then on enwiki (works fine).
Also the problem is specifically on Chrome, works fine with Opera, Firefox.
I'd guess there would be JavaScript errors in the console, but does Chrome for Android even allow viewing them?
Content Translation had very limited mobile support. Recently we started the Section Translation project to support translation on mobile web. The Section Translation dashboard will evolve to become the one to be used on both desktop and mobile.
The search on the new dashboard works on Chrome for Android. We'll put our efforts in improving the new dashboard so that it can replace the old one rather than improving mobile support for the old one. So I'll discard the current ticket.
