On https://federated-commons.wmflabs.org yesterday, the most recent file (Special:RecentChanges) went straight into the edit mode upon page load.
That shouldn't happen, but was resolved as soon as I purged cache.
Doublecheck in more detail that it's not an actual issue (cache is not an issue in prod - we have no depicts there yet)
