In Event Settings the date format is:

M/D/YYYY H:MM AM/PM

With a 12 hour clock; no trailing zeros for day, month or hour.

In Event Summary the date format is:

YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM

With a 24 hour clock.

Making them consistent might make things easier for users, or make errors less likely.
