On clicking the superscripted number on mobile, the reference is displayed in a black modal with white text. The link colour is however the standard blue. The contrast difference between #36c (the standard blue colour) and the black colour does not seem to be much, making it difficult to understand the text of the link.
A possible solution would be to use a shade of grey as the background of the modal.

That can be a clear list of specific steps to reproduce the situation, as little details sometimes matter, so that nobody needs to guess how you performed each step, describing actual results and expected results after performing the steps to reproduce, providing a link to a public website where the issue can be seen, if you see the same behavior when you are not logged in, information about your web browser(s), MediaWiki version information (if it is not on a Wikimedia wiki), etc.

The contrast of links against the background is 3.91, below the 4.5 required by WCAG AA for normal text. (going off this )
I'm adding the Minerva tag since this change can be made to the reference drawer in Minerva. I think Wikimedia-ui-base has an appropriate blue we could use.
