Description

Analytics-Wikimetrics / Community-Wikimetrics has been deprecated in favor of Event Metrics if I understand rightly. I've spoken to @Milimetric on -analytics and suggested that while wikimetrics stuff could be archived, he'd appreciate if we could keep the repos and the GitHub mirror because it still has useful code on it.

Opening therefore this task so know exactly what can we archive, and how we should do it to honor Analytics request (thus not adding yet the template we use for this kind of tasks).

Edit: I think they are rANWM analytics-wikimetrics and rAWMD analytics-wikimetrics-deploy the ones that are concerned.

I see there are several wikimetrics repositories.

analytics/wikimetrics
analytics/wikimetrics-deploy
operations/puppet/wikimetrics
secrets/wikimetrics

I can also see in Wikimedia Github that there is an extra mirror named: wikimedia-analytics-wikimetrics-deploy (apart from analytics-wikimetrics-deploy).

We Analytics have decided that we'll wait for a couple months to archive/delete Wikimetrics repos among other irreversable remaining action items.
I made a task with all such action items, and included this current task as a child of it. See: T219446

@mforns Awesome. When you're ready (a-team I mean), please let me know and also which specific wikimetrics repos you want archived.

@mforns: 19 months later, has a decision been made (as the parent task was resolved in December 2019)? :)

oops, this slipped by our radar. Any repositories here can be deleted or archived as you see fit, here is my suggestion:
