Description

There's some viewport issues on Chrome on desktop view.

Browser: chrome v73.0.3683.90
Compared browser: mint browser by Xiaomi (same results on Firefox also)

This does not mean much and changes all of the time - please always include the exact version.

Does this also happen in a private browser window, without being logged in?

Yes it does, as you can see in those screenshots I'm not logged in. Same results on logged in too.

This reminds me of T210747 which is also about Chrome and interesting rendering.

https://meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:1997kB/global.css&diff=prev&oldid=20377708 fixed this issue on most pages, but Preferences and few templates still follow this font boosting.

Given work on desktop improvements, [1] we are unlikely to fix this in legacy vector. Note although we are not planning to make vector a responsive skin any improvements to the wgVectorResponsive mode are welcomed.
