Description

Please create a Herald rule with roughly the following (from @MBinder_WMF ):

  • Is
  • Do (first time)
    • Email multimedia-team@lists.wikimedia.org

I'll get in and whitelist the sender for the list. Please advise if the sender is different from normal Phabricator bugmail.

It's not letting me add the mailing list.... I paste in multimedia-team@lists.wikimedia.org and then it disappears when I click away.

It says "Typer a user, project, package, or mailing list name" suggesting that maybe there's some 'mailing list' Phabricator app that we don't have enabled.

Could have it email the members of the Multimedia project? But I'm hesitant on that because this is a "global" herald rule and it bypasses security restrictions. Maybe a specific list of users?

Ideally, yes, "whatever email I put in this box, please" but I can't seem to get that to happen.

Boy, we should really clean up that project's membership.

I'd be fine putting in the current members of the team, but it'd be Yet Another Update when the team membership changes.
