Spacing issues with certain text on Special:Contributions

Description

There are some issues with the spaces between certain links on Special:Contributions on the English Wikipedia. Two spaces appear before each vertical bar instead of one. I can't tell why, since nothing seems to be noticeably different CSS-wise; on the French Wikipedia there are still two spaces (one from the CSS ::before and one in the HTML), but they're collapsed into one space.

Before "| block log" there should be one space, but there are two spaces. Same with the rest of the links in the subheader and the "(diff | hist)" links.

I cannot reproduce in Firefox 67 being logged in.

@Jc86035: Is this still an issue? If it is, which browser do you use?

The problem has now gone away for me. I've also only checked in Firefox 67, though.
