OOUI's article icons miss two use cases – articles which are not found, and disambiguation articles
Closed, ResolvedPublic0 Estimated Story Points

Description

Found by Ed during T222079:

Article-style icons from OOUI:

These lack two use cases:

  • "disambiguation" (forked arrows) and
  • "not found" (question mark)

Need design review. My first thoughts:

  • redirection arrow should probably start from outside the article
  • question mark seems a tad too small in comparison to the other article* icons
  • is disambiguation clearer than redirector?

redirection arrow should probably start from outside the article

Maybe, although articleAdd also doesn't touch the edge.

question mark seems a tad too small in comparison to the other article* icons

Agreed

is disambiguation clearer than redirector?

It's a fairly complex concept to explain in a 20x20 icon, I'm not sure how clear it will ever be

While we're here, I think the "behind" page in "articles" should have more rounded corners?
