MemoryError on submitting a job through Toolforge's cron
Closed, DuplicatePublic

I got an email (copy-pasted below) from Cron for tool urbanecmbot on May 3 at 02:00.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/job", line 21, in <module>
    import xml.etree.ElementTree
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 969, in _find_and_load
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 958, in _find_and_load_unlocked
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap>", line 673, in _load_unlocked
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap_external>", line 669, in exec_module
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap_external>", line 773, in get_code
  File "<frozen importlib._bootstrap_external>", line 484, in _compile_bytecode

It looks it's impossible to submit a job at some point.

@Urbanecm Could you check whether the time in which the email was sent was 0 midnight UTC?

yes, 02:00 CEST->0:00 UTC.

We both are from the same wiki and within the same timezone :)

The easy solution for bot runners is not to set cron to run at midnight, as long as the issue is present.

@Dvorapa Yes, we are, but you weren't the one who asked the question I answered. I don't know which timezone is @zhuyifei1999's one ;).
