Is the text approved by UX or explicitly dictated by Fundraising Ops? I've encountered peiople who did not know what "optional" means and/or considered it elitist/bureaucratic language. Also the whole senetence is passive. How about "Wenn Sie keine Spendenbescheinigung benötigen, können Sie die Adressfelder frei lassen."?

Also, in the donation form the receipt is called "Zuwendungsbescheinigung".

You can always edit the text in https://github.com/wmde/fundraising-frontend-content/blob/test/i18n/de_DE/messages/messages.json

"optional"

I assumes it is form-language-standard, but yes, we should make this easier by getting rid of "optional".

+1 for activating it.

I think "Spendenbescheinigung" is better. I say "Ich habe für … gespendet" but not "Ich habe eine Zuwendung… getätigt"

can we move this to some sort of "Text-Backlog" I would like to go over them in one go, since it makes it easier to spot inconsistencies.

Please use the word "Zuwendungsbescheinigung" because we use this term on the donation page already and (which is more important) for members this wording is false since a member fee is not a donation. Also, + 1 for active wording (e.g. "Sie können uns Ihre aktuelle Adresse auch mitteilen, wenn Sie keine Bescheinigung erhalten möchten."). Remember we want them to add their adress even if they do not need a Zuwendungsbescheinigung.

Since we already show the address fields despite them being now optional, I think saying so directly is only fair.

What should be the text on the success page when the user opts out? The current text for all cases is Vielen Dank für Ihre Mithilfe! Sie erhalten demnächst eine Spendenbescheinigung an Ihre neue Adresse. which is no longer suitable. I've added the translation key [[ https://github.com/wmde/fundraising-frontend-content/blob/test/i18n/de_DE/messages/messages.json#L330 | address_update_success_body_optout ]], so you can edit it yourself.
