Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Project Name: sso
Type of quota increase requested: floating ip
Reason: We'll need this for the SSO tests, some of the exposed test endpoints are not going be behind HTTP(s)

Event Timeline

How many floating IPs are you requesting? I guess is just 1?

I think one is fine to start, if we need more, I'll make a new task. I also seem to be unable to crate a zone for sso.wmflabs.org, getting "Fehler: Unable to create the zone.", is that something that also needs to be granted?

I think an sso.wmflabs.org zone should have been created when the project was created... I don't think ordinary users are able to create zones.

Hmmh, at list for the recently created "sso" project that's not the case, the list under "DNS zones" is empty, while e.g. for "deployment-prep" two zones are listed.

Yeah, clearly something went wrong (or my expectation that newly created projects get themselves a zone created was wrong) as it is definitely missing.

+1 approved in the WMCS team meeting.

I don't know why the automatic creation of sso.wmflabs.org failed, but I have created that zone in the project.
