    • Archive Wikidata item associated with documentation page (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q63586958) (remove nearly all statements, except instance of (P31) = MediaWiki extension (Q6805426), which should add a qualifier end time (P582) = the YYYY-MM-DD date that you decided to archive extension, generally per edit history, change English (and other languages if possible) description to "archived MediaWiki extension" (and its translation)).
  • Phabricator
    • Mark all Phabricator tasks for the extension either Declined or Invalid. Related tasks can be found under Dark-Mode, but be aware that this is not the extension project, and it should not be archived!
  • Translatewiki.net/translations
    • Remove from translatewiki.net (groups/MediaWiki/mediawiki-extensions.txt) (add translatewiki.net project as a tag for this task).
  • Configuration/tests/integrations/etc.
    • Remove from mediawiki/extensions (along with in .gitmodules).

Thanks for creating this task! There's a very small chance this extension is not completely doomed, or maybe the Readers Web team will piggyback off of it. So to be on the safe side I'll keep the extension listed as "experimental".

Sorry, I did not know archiving was such an involved process!

It is a little troubling that the messaging is up for translation on TWN, when as written these messages may never be seen by the public :/ I'll defer to you on what to do there.
