Aklapper renamed this task from Failure to publish completed translation to Failure to publish completed translation : "Error: Attempting to save section 1 having no section state".Jun 13 2019, 5:14 PM
Aklapper added a project: ContentTranslation.

Thanks for reporting this! Assuming this task is about ContentTranslation hence adding project tag so others can find this task, under that project.

For future reference, please post console output by using three backticks before and after (see the comment preview below), so linebreaks etc are preserved. Thanks :)

I don't know exact reason behind your title ending up with two ‌ substrings. That is the likely cause behind having your publishing being unsuccessful.

Having ‌ in your title is the definite reason behind not being able to load your translation for later editing/trying to publish again.

This is happening ever since e7d17dbc030b91a2d8e55e0760ef10d80419f3ea and was discovered some time ago in my local dev environment, but I haven't reported a ticket.
@Pginer-WMF, when title is invalid (having characters like square brackets, pipes or sequences like "‌") and draft saved and loaded again, CX will always fail. Do we need a new ticket, which I could create and explain issue with more technical details? Or we can use this one, which also mentions publishing problems?

Having a new ticket that is focused on the specific issue seems more useful. You can link to this one as related in order to check it again once the underlying issue gets solved.

@Pginer-WMF @PeterPetrakovic88 ZWNJ may appear more times, when the title uses English text written in Telugu. Meanwhile, can you provide the translated text, so that I can publish it outside of that tool, as I have already spent considerable time on translation.

Thanks for the details, we'll investigate and plan to work to fix this. Meanwhile you can use the translation debugger to access the contents of your translation:

 1. Type the source language ("en"), the target language ("te"), and the source title ("OpenStreetMap")
 2. Click "find" to retrieve the translation metadata and ID
 3. Click "Fetch translation" to access the contents

@Pginer-WMF Thanks for the link to translation debugger. It needed some work to get the wikitext properly as wikipage, but it is helpful.
