Motivation
With Toki Pona there is one example of a language that was once supported, and thus had some content on Wikidata, but is not anymore. While this works great for current revisions of items, there might be some older revisions where only changes were executed on Toki Pona terms that may look mysterious with Toki Pona not being displayed.
The question is what should be shown here.
Ideas
- Add some info text, that a no longer supported language was altered here
- Do show the original content, although this probably has effects on code complexity, and would have consequences to T217770: [Story] Never show anything from a language that is not currently Wikidata conform
Notes
- Since we don't have revisioning of languages, revisions might still carry Toki Pona content at a point in time when it was not officially supported anymore.
- At this point this is a very small set of affected revisions.
- At this point, there is no automatism that when another language is not supported anymore all of its items are removed. Thus, as long as that is not fixed, we might end up displaying content of a not-anymore-supported language even on a recent revision.
