Steps to Reproduce:
Go to preferences
Open "Gadgets" tab
Scroll to "Appearance"
Enable "Allow navigation menus to be collapsed"
Save changes
Reload extra Wikipedia tab
Actual Results:
Sidebar gets malformed on non-special pages
Expected Results:
Navigation menus can be collapsed

Please describe on which exact website this happens. What does "Reload extra Wikipedia tab" mean? What is an extra Wikipedia tab? Which specific "non-special page" is this about? What does "malformed" mean *exactly*? Please include specific links so others do not have to guess when they try to reproduce the problem. Thanks!
@DannyS712: So far nobody knows if this is about a Wikimedia website, hence I removed WMF-General-or-Unknown.

There is stuff like
in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadget-CollapsibleNav.css which anyone with sufficient rights on en.wp is free to remove (fix).
Maybe you could bring this up on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical) ?
On-wiki content like user scripts, gadgets, custom CSS are local features and managed independently on each wiki. Phabricator/Maniphest is used for MediaWiki, MediaWiki extensions, or server configuration. This is a matter to discuss and fix on the local wiki and not handled in Phabricator/Maniphest (until https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T121470 gets solved), hence I am closing this task as invalid here.
"Reload extra Wikipedia tab" means Open a new browser tab with Wikipedia and view it.
