I have been using the source editor for a long time now. We have a function in the VE that if I write [[ it's automatically converted into a search field, where I can type a lemma. often there are existing lemmas in the text I just wanna link. What about to automatically insert the lemma into the search when typing [[ (without space between [[ and {lemma}:
Example:

• Article -> [[Article -> Search field is pre-filled with Article
• Article -> [[ Article -> Search field is not pre-filled
