Investigate methods for participation in bi-weekly editorial board meetings that are not video chat
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

As it was pointed out on Space, limiting to those who can use video chat may exclude participation in the review of news for Wikimedia Space. We should look into alternative ways of operating these meetings. Perhaps even hosting them as a virtual meeting (similar to IRC office hours)

A real-time chat that is accessible and logged (or can be logged) might be something worth investigating. Maybe something in Space itself? https://github.com/gdpelican/babble

Can you prioritize this task, please?

@CKoerner_WMF: Mass-moving open Space (Oct-Dec-2019) tasks to Space (Jan-Mar-2020). In case this task has been fixed (resolved) already or is not being worked on anymore (declined), please update the task status via the Add Action...Change Status dropdown. Thanks!

I'm going to resolve this task for now. We keep an etherpad with notes from each meeting and any user can login to the bog and see all drafts in progress and their scheduled publication dates (if they exist). If folks can't join our Zoom meeting, they can still keep up and stay in contact with editors as news is published.
