Description

It would be nice if https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Statistics listed the number of categories on the wiki.

Do you mean the number of pages in the category namespace (making this a part of T228554) or the number of rows in the category table? Also, potentially related: T37758

Either would be fine, they're about the same counts. I filed two tasks because one task could be done without the other, in theory.
