Requesting new Phabricator tag "Observability-Goal"

Description

Hello, I'd like to request a Phabricator tag called "Observability-Goal" in order to use a work board for organizing Observability related goal tasks.

Thanks in advance!

Event Timeline

Any description understandable for average humans, please? :) Which type of project tag?
See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Creating_and_renaming_projects

Is this somehow related to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/84/ ? If yes, in which relation are they (subproject maybe?) and why is the observability workboard (e.g. combining some observability tasks with a Goal tag and then filtering the workboard view on that) not sufficient?

Yes, this could work! The main reasoning for requesting a new tag is that https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/tag/observability-goal is easy to remember compared to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/board/84/query/kw96TasLJ5eE/. Is there a way to save/alias that filter for quick access? or are bookmarks the way to go for that?

You could use the w.wiki URL shortener to make a really short URL for it.

I took the liberty to add a link item called "Workboard: Goals only" to the sidebar of observability, via Manage 🡒 Edit Menu 🡒 Add new menu item... 🡒 Link. Feel free to use, adjust, rename, ignore, or remove. WFM?

(I mean... a workboard still might make sense but really depends on your exact use case, so this request might still make sense. But if your observability-goals would use the same structure as the workboard columns on the existing observability workboard then there is no reason for a new project tag.

Unfortunately the docs on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Phabricator/Project_management#Boards only mention this trick in one abstract sentence...

herron claimed this task.

Thanks @Aklapper! The link on the sidebar of observability solves this quite nicely.
