Apple Pay Spec - ingenico
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Hi David,

As a low priority item, here is the link to the Apple Pay integration info from Ingenico in the even we want to add this payment type. I will not be added to our HPP any time soon so we'd have to implement it stand alone.

Hi @EMartin. Can you please associate at least one project with this task (via the Add Action...Change Project Tags dropdown)? This will allow others to get notified and see this task when looking at the corresponding project workboard. Thanks!

Hi, I don't see any obvious existing projects associated. What should I
do?

@EMartin Thanks for this. We'll have to look at this a little later. Several years ago it looked like Adyen was going to be somewhat easier. Could you find any of their documentation and make another task for that? We'd want to compare all options. Thanks!

DStrine renamed this task from Apple Pay Spec for stand alone integration to Apple Pay Spec - ingenico.Nov 14 2019, 9:44 PM
DStrine added a project: FR-Ingenico.

Darn, that page says that

  1. Apple Pay is only supported via the iOS SDK of Ingenico Connect and only on the GlobalCollect platform.

Emailed to clarify.

@EMartin, @DStrine: The Due Date set for this open task is more than a month ago. Can you please either update or reset the Due Date (by clicking Edit Task), or set the status of this task to resolved in case this task is done? Thanks.

EMartin changed Due Date from Jan 17 2020, 12:00 AM to Jan 9 2021, 12:00 AM.Jun 1 2020, 2:05 PM
DStrine removed Due Date which was set to Jan 9 2021, 12:00 AM.Jun 1 2020, 3:11 PM

fixed, thanks

Hi all, please note this updated ApplePay spec from Ingenico: We have very recently published new technical content that your team can start to review, see below and please let us know if you have any questions. Happy to schedule a call to review in depth as well. We are close to being able to open up the pre-production environment, we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we have a concrete date for that.

@EMartin: Please do not remove all project tags, but add at least one active project tag. Otherwise nobody can find this task on any workboard. Thanks!

Some added insight from Ingenico about their Apple pay support when we are ready : We do support the native in-app integrations, sorry for not confirming earlier. We can set this up in the pre-production environment for your team to start working on, and I’ve copied Jerry and our colleague Dianna, who is working through this with another customer of ours. We are working through a few minor bugs over the next few weeks but it is ready enough for you to start working on. I would suggest we start with one currency, say USD, just to keep the scope narrow to begin with, is that okay with you? We do support all and can add more, but I think it may be clearer to add them once we have successful USD tests going.
