Upstream has released a 2.15.17
Gerrit version 2.15.17 is now available. This release includes a few minor fixes since 2.15.16, and will likely be the last release on the 2.15 series before it reaches EOL. Please see the release notes for details.

The have a hackathon soonish at which point 2.15 will be EOL and we will thus have to move to 2.16 (T200739).
I think we're planning to go with 2.16 instead of doing this then 2.16. Since a tentative date has been decided. (Also this month is busy for releng).
