We want to have a useful Wikidata Item for each Wikidata-related tool in order to maintain the data about it in a single place and to list and filter tools according to different criteria and from different places (wiki, Query Service, etc.). Ideally, no data about tools should be stored as wikitext in Wikidata:Tools.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to add the author (usually a Wikimedia account) unless they already have a wikidata item. So I'll leave that blank for now.
