Use simplified mobilefrontend copyright messages on mobile VE
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

wikimedia-copyrightwarning gets a ton of custom HTML as desktop editors have customised it over the years. MobileFrontend worked around this by creating mobile-frontend-editor-licensing-with-terms. As this message is explicitly for mobile, it hasn't been abused in the same way wikimedia-copyrightwarning has:

@ovasileva, when y'all created mobile-frontend-editor-licensing-with-terms, did you get legal's approval? I assume yes, tho I'm wanting to be sure.

I'm asking in the context of this ticket where we're planning use mobile-frontend-editor-licensing-with-terms in the mobile VE save dialog as well.

The Editing-team will follow up with legal to confirm the Mobile-frontend-editor-licensing-with-terms are fine was the outcome of that.

Olga and I talked about this back in September. Outcome: legal is aware of the copy on this page and has not expressed concerns.
