Further to this discussion at Commons: Village Pump https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Commons:Village_pump&oldid=360369059#Uploads, I'd like to suggest the following improvements:
- Ability for user's preferred configuration (# of files per page, show/hide old versions etc...) to be saved/persistent.
- Option to select a "gallery" view, omitting upload comment/separate filename link etc... and just presenting image thumbnails (configurable in size?) and/or other pre-defined/user-defined 'views'
